Just wondering, can you cook?

I'm 18 in less than 2 months and I can't - but my boyfriend can and we're moving in together so we have it all arranged :p

I can cook!! My gran and I used to bake all the time when I was younger and my mum's a really good cook as well :)

I sometimes make the dinner and stuff, I love it :D lol not stuff like putting frozen fries in the oven :p but proper making a meal from scratch! =]

i'm 13 and i'd say i'm a very good cook
food tech lessons at my school are CRAP though, so i prefer cooking at home<3

I'm good at cooking. I really loving making risotto, and grilled prawns in my special marinade. I can make lots of other things too.

My cooking classes at school are rubbish, though. So I prefer to cook at home. ^.^

I can cook. Because, I love to cook all kind of foods, well not all kind of food, but I say most of them. They are fun to do and fun to make. ;) My sis and I always help eachother while we are cooking.

My food tech teacher this year trys to give people high blood pressure with her food! I have never seen someone put about a quarter of salt (not even low salt) into one dish. And this is just an understatement.

I love cooking, i'm such a picky eater my mum gets fed up with cooking for me, so she just lets me make my own dinner. I'm also top in our food tech clases, since year 7 ^^ Except i've dropped it. :D

I can't cook at all really :P
I really should learn to do something though :P My mum gets on at me and says to come in and watch or help her out in the kitchen sometimes but whenever I go in, she usually tells me to get out XD we've got a really small kitchen so she probably gets annoyed at trying to move around when I'm in the way a bit Hehe! :D

I can only cook lasagna, pasta w/ tomato sauce, and korean rice cakes. XD Nothing else. Or soup noodles. But they suck 'cause I can't make good-tasting soup without a base. =P

If I stick to cooking basic things and following recipes I am good, it's only when I stray from the recipes... it ends in disaster usually LOL

no they're not really, it would still be an idea to learn your basic cooking skills - maybe stand in the kitchen and learn from them, cooking skills are handy to have :)

I can cook lots of things, but I prefer not too, my mom loves cooking (she is a chef) and so does my sister but I loath it with a passion. I personally do not think pealing carrots and potatoes as 'fun', my sister can do that while i set the table lol, I'ld much rather set the table than peel carrots.

I've been cooking really well since I was 9, but I got into cooking when I was like,6.
I'm 11 now and I love cooking sweets.
Of course I usaully have to have supervision or else I might "burn the house down"
lol. My favorite thing to make is frozen pumpkin pie. My favorite thing to bake is Sugar an' Spice cookies.:D

Does toast count? :) I can do pancakes, sausages, bacon, that sort of thing. I know when cheese on toast is made and I know when things like potatoes get too hot and when to turn them down, I want to learn to make cakes though. And I asked my mum to teach me how to make spaghetti bolognase because I love it as my mum makes the best with loads of spices and flavourings and everything. I LOVE IT.

Here's my advice: join a few recipe websites like i.e. AllRecipes.com, Cooking.com, KraftFoods.com & Pillsbury.com, get into some free or cheap cooking classes, get some beginner's cookbooks & spare off about $20-40 a month & just experiment with some of your favorite foods.
