Grades or Years?

Do you use Years or Grades in your country?
I use Years because I live in England :)

We used form 1 etc when l went to school now they use years in secondary school and grades in primary school.!

I use grades for elementary ( I'm in grade 5), in high school it's like 4th year high school so it's years, college I think it's also years.

I think at 6 years old we start year 1. Before that is reception, and before that is nursery, and before that is pre-school.
