Im starting the 8th grade on Monday!!Lets c I went major shopping in NY so i bought a whole bunch of clothes. My skewl kinda has a uniform policy 2 wear polos and pants like no jeans so tat sux but im planning on wearing a black polo with white glittery stripes and black capris.And 4 shoes i think black new sneakers but i dunt wanna where 2 much black like dark.And i dunt normally where a lot of black.I hav no idea how im gonna do my hair im getting it dun myself but im lost i need pointers fast!!!Help!!!!

I'm starting going back to school in September. Luckily and unfortunately, I can't wear much. Just a white shirt and black pants. :/ Uniform policies are horrible...

I'm going into a private highschool, and I enjoy uniforms! We have the plaid skirts and polos, and they're actually kinda cute. I've never gone to public school.

OMG u do?! Well sum uniforms can b cute but sumtimes it sux 2 not where ur fav tshirt and jeans. BTW since i live in florida and Tropical storm Fay is heading my way skewl is canceled 4 2moro yay!! :) and nay!!! :(

Ahh, never had uniforms at school, thnk goodness. I culd wear whatever sillyness I wanted.

I remember going to school in full fifties gear: petty coat, pastel scarf, hair in a high ponytail. That was fun :) Just the once though. And not a good outfit for a first day, methinks.

It always helps to wear somethng comfortable, and something that doesnt stain easily. The last thing you want on your first day is to look as if youre ready to burst out of your too tight skinny jeans, with muffin top <shudders> or to have sweat stains appear when you introduce yourself to new classmates...

But if you are stuck with a uniform you have nothing to worry about eh?

Lucky!!! BUt there is a downside and an upside 2 uniforms. My skewl says its 4 safety and if u think bout it it is. Like if evry1 is wearing uniforms and sum bad guy walks on campus its easy 2 identify tat person cuz he's wearing dif clothing frum evry1 else so...

Where I live we always start on a day before the 10th of January and ends at around the middle of November. Somehow, it's always changing and the holidays aren't as much as the other side of the world because we don't have seasons. '^'

Around the whole country, it's the same uniform - unless you go to a private school. = =
Primary school[Grade 1 - Grade 6] and Secondary school[Grade 7 - Grade 13] end at the same time.
7:30AM - 1:00PM.

Man, my schools are really different from all of yours. -.-
Now it's the fasting month, where all the Malays fast.
It's hard for us non-Malays to hide our food from them. = =
I want to eat ice-cream so bad...
