Last year was my first introduction to public school since second grade. A local junior high. Almost immediately after I started, I sorted my classes into likes and dislikes. The classes I hated most were Spanish, Drama, and English...

Why?

The classroom atmosphere was so distracting that I couldn't learn anything!

Sometimes I'd join in good-naturedly (such as putting plastic forks in the pencil container), but I watched people jumping off the tables and tipping their desks onto the ground in the middle of class, and I wondered "Have they no shame?" And the talking! It was so loud in there, you couldn't hear yourself think!

This year is my second year in public school, and I'm not looking forward to it.

Anyone else have stories of disturbing/annoying times in the classroom? I'd like to hear! ^^

I take it then you were in private school?
Ay, that's just people, for ya, they can be immature.
I like quiet times, but then, I love to have classes that are upbeat!

Annoying times... hmm...
I'd have to say when one of my old teachers used to tease me, and call me "nick-names"
=__= "Return of the Jodi", "Squeak"

It was quite annoying, not really disturbing though. xD

Pfff. your teachers had no control over their class? :P Ha! I remember on day when my students were testing me out... I think I sent 5 people to the supervisor teacher.. hehehe, that was a fun day. (Mind you, my class loved me after that, I think. They did not get in serious trouble, neither did I, and we got along great for the rest of the year!)

As a student, I was never much bothered by other students. We all worked on our own thing so we didnt need to sit up straight and listen for 40 minutes or 80 minutes. It was a lot more relaxed, just getting on with your schoolwork.

I don't recall hating any classes. I do recall missing most of my philosophy classes in my final year. It was the only lesson on a tuesday for me. I had to travel 1 hour and 15 minutes to get to a class that would last 40 minutes, then go back again for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Seriously, would you have gone? I ended up with a just average mark on my exam when I could have scored higher, but meh.

In our class we are quiet when we have our normal teacher, but when we have someone else everyone starts talking and going around in the room and trowing stuff at people++

But actually i dont mind so much.

Well, what I think was most annoying is that I need to learn Spanish, then I had to learn German! Man, I had a hard time getting along.
