BACKGROUND: As a child Alisha was tormented by her step brothers and by the other guys in school after a sleepover incident. It was when she experienced her first kiss - with a girl. Since then Alisha has always had a thing for girls, but she's torn between a girls and guys. Her mother was an alcoholic and a druggie, and her stepfather was abusive. All of this led Alisha to the one thing she loves the most, music! Now, after running away, she has a full life ahead of her and an amazing talent to help her!
But is there more to her than meets the eye?

And so, the story begins.

"JARED!! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?!" yelled Kitty as she walked up the steps of the thatre with her manager, Jared Johnson.
"Look, I had to do something. You've fired 5 drummers, 6 bassists, 2 vocalists, AND you've aused 10 different guitarists to QUIT!! I'd say that you have done

"OH SHUT UP JARED!!"
"ENOUGH!!" yelled Jared as they entered the theatre causing all the people to look up at the door.
Suddenly the room was silent.
"HA! These are the nobodies that I have to hear audition? HA!!" laughed Kitty. Some of the people were quite offended.
"Actually, these are your new band members. I auditiond them."
"WHAT?!"
"Go meet your new band members." Jared said. they walked down to the stage, and then Kitty said:
"OKay. FINE! So who are you nobodies?"

"I asked what you wanted me to do." Alisha replied.
"Well, what can you play?"
"Anything."
"Anything! HA! That's funny."
"But Kitty," piped up Jared. "It's true! She really can play anything, if you'd give her a chance!"
"Whatever Jared. I'll believe it when I see it. Here," as she threw a bass at Alisha. "Play this."

Sheep sat on a park bench, fiddling with his car keys. His car had gotten high jacked, and he only got the keys.

At the same time Kitty was in the park wirting a new song and walked past him.
"Hey, aren't you that weird freak that was at auditions yesterday?" she asked him.

He didn't respond at first.
"Hello! Earth to freak on the street! I said weren't you one of the dorks at Jared's auditions yesterday?!"
Sheep looked up.
As she waited for his reply, she could see the bus pulling up in the corner of her eye.
"Well, if you were there, and made it in, hurry up and get on the bus! And dont look so unhappy! It ruins my mood."
As she turned and walked away, he looked down again.
"Well, she'll be fun to hang around."he thought. "I just hope she's nothing like my mother."

Janie was looking up clothes for the "Non curvy, average height" Section. "Hey kitty, do you think, on the first concert, should I wear the evening outfit or the weekend one?"

"Oh! Okay then!"
The bus finally pulled up at around 2:30. As everyone began to load up the undercarrage of the bus with luggage, no one noticed that Sheep quietly stuck his suitcase in between Kitty and Alisha's bags and slipped on the bus.

Then the guy looked up.
"First off, don't talk to me. Second, I'm not emo. And third, get that friggin' radioactive pollutant away from me." said 'emo dude'
"Oh, that Gideon." said Jared.
"Hm... well keep him away from me and um Gideon?" she said to him in a sickly sweet voice, "I don't really give a crap what you want. okay?"

Alisha walked up to the front of the bus where Jared was.
"Y-y-yes Jared?" she asked.
Ever since she saw Jared at auditions, she couldn't get him off her mind. She thought he was too cute! Too cute to be talking to the nerd like her.
Then she remembered something from when she was growing up in Chicago. She remembered the only boy that would talk to her after the sleepover - and the thing that changed her whole life.
But she knew better. He could've dissappeared off the face of the earth for all she cared. Ever since she moved, she had to deal with not being able to talk to him for so long.

Once they were both in Jared's 'office' Jared started to blush. Then he went to talk,
"Duhhhh." he clasped his hands over his mouth, "Um.. I was...uh..."
he could barely talk and his face was starting to go beet red,
"WOULD U CONSIDER WRITING A SONG FOR THE CONCERT!?" he said in quick babble.

Alisha was in too much shock to reply. Then she let out a giggle.
"You want me to write a song? But I can't write...at least not very well. I haven't written anything since 10th grade. And doesn't Kitty ususally write all the songs? Won't she get mad if I do write on?" she replied, turning red herself.

"Welll.........Actually Kitty has being having some mental health problems and hasn't had time to write any songs between doctors appointments and disappearing." said Jared a little concerned.

"Oh, I guess that would put a damper on her creativeness." Alisha replied.
"So I guess I have no other choice then. I'll write one, but don't be surprised if it sucks the first couple of times that I write it."

"Uh oh. The medicine is wearing off. Darn. I can't take it again for an hour... Achoo! Achoo! Aye aye aye!"

"OH!! If you feel I'm forcing you then you don't have to do it. I can get Gideon too. He is our lead, Male, singer. But I would appreciate you writing it." Jared told Alisha, blushing again.

"Hi, It's Janie. Achoo! I may not make it to the concert. My medication wore off, and I cannot take it for an hour. That's all, bye!"

Then Alisha noticed that someone seemed to be missing.
"Hey," said Jared, as if he could read her thoughts. "Where's Janie?"

"Janie!!!" yelled Kitty as she ran over to them, "Are you okay? Are you sure you should be here?? BTW I tried to make sure that none was wearing velvet. Is that kewl??" Everyone was shocked that kitty was being so nice, well except Janie.

"I can't. I can't take medication for another hour... I think I am gonna stay on the bus. And I think it's the bed curtains, I felt them... Achoo! Mmm. Listen, I think I will stay here. I mean, our concert is in a few days. Stand back. Ahhh....Ahhh..Achoo!!" Janie said, bearing her largest sneeze yet.

"Hey," said a voice on the bus when Janie walked in,"Shouldn't you be out practicing with all the other Idiots?" It was just Gideon, being mean and weird again.

Rae Rae sat and listend to everyone talking and snezzeing with a smile. After a while she picked up her book and stared reading it for idea's for something to draw. After she read a chapter she remberd that she had some med's to haelp her snezzing and then started to look for it, after a while she fond it.
"Hey, Janie, I have something you can take, it will hold you up for 6 hour's and you can take it 36 minates after it where's off."
Issah was laying on his bed sleeping like a rock.

Janie smiled. "Thanks. *sniffs*" She popped a pill into her mouth and went put of bed. "Feeling better now."

"I'm glad that you feel better for now. Just let me know if you need anything, okay? And don't be afraid to ask!" said Alisha.
"And now, I have to write a freakin' song!! How will I ever know what to write?!" she thought.
Just then Gideon came up behind her.
"So I hear that blonde asked you to write the song for the next concert. It better be good, cause I don't wanna sing no girly crap up on stage for my first gig, got it?!"
"Yeah, whatever." replied Alisha.
"Don't worry, I'm not that mean. I actually could learn to like you." he added sweetly. "You're not like the other girls here. You seem different."
"Well, don't get too comfy around me, got it? I don't like the feeling of being smothered."
"Yeah, whatever." said Gideon.
After that, he walked off - back on the bus - and listened to his iPod.
"What a jerk! I hardly know the guy and I already don't like him!" Alisha thought.

"Hi. Don't worry about Gideon. He can't be as bad as he seems. Um did he perchance say anything about me?"

"None that I heard." Alisha didn't want to tell Kitty about Gideon saying that he might like begin to like her. Because from what she remembered, Kitty liked Gideon. "He was giving me a hard time about the song I'm supposed to write. But if he ever does say anything, I'll let you know. And thanks for the encouragement Nina!"

"Oh it's no big deal!" Nina smiled!
Nina sat down a little far away from everyone else. She was quietly working on her homework. Homework was abosolutely no prob for Nina. She was the science fair winner for 3 years in a row,and her own father was a medical doctor. She took a bite of her mother's homebaked crunchy cookies!
"MMMMMMM! Yummy!"Nina said with her mouth full.

She figured that Kitty had made it, but she still thought it was a cute gesture. "It's cute! Very stylish. Hey, I'm gonna go work on the song on the bus, okay?"
As she headed for the bus, she spotted Nina sitting by herself.
"Why are you working on homework?" Alisha asked. Then she paused.
"A-a-are those chocolate chip cookies?" She asked, and she could feel the drool beginning to form around the corners of her mouth.

"Wow! It's so cute and romantic,"Nina said to herself. She wasn't eavesdropping,but just happened to see and hear from afar.

She suddenly heard Alisha's question.
"YEAH! Would you like some!"Nina said with an evil smile. She noticed Alisha eyeballing her delicious treats.

Kayli woke up in the drivers seat of her moms car. tired, alone, scared. She went through so much trouble. first she ran away then stole her moms car. only to end up rejected. But kali wasn't a quiter. She made the desicion to follow them to every concert. there was no going back now. it was still dark. Kayli barly knew how to drive in the light. she slowly sliped into a restless sleep.

She then walked off to begin workin on her "masterpiece".

Nina again happened to hear this,but didn't dare look.

"You're welcome!" Nina said in a funny enthusiastic voice. She loves cheering people,and she noticed he was looking at Kitty.

I wonder if that Sheep guy likes Janie too. She thought.

"She's fine. I've seen her smile a few times. She also mentioned that bracelet to me. Well,not exactly to me?!!? Nevermind,she said that It's very special,"Nina replied. She also smiled and felt worried that Kitty would get angry at her for telling him. Nina smiled for 3 seconds and got a worried look on her face.

Nina was frightened.

"Ok. Now, I'm suspicious. What's wrong?" Jared had a firm hold on her arm so she couldn't escape, "Tell me" He suddenly had an extremely serious look on his face.

"hmmmm... No. I'm not falling for that. Kitty did that 2 years ago. Now- PLEASE!- tell me." said Jared using the sacred art of the puppy dog eyes.

"Her? Her who? Kitty? Is there something wrong with kitty?" said Jared suprised. He didn't know that Nina could yell.

"There's nothing wrong with her. She's my friend,I think? It's probably you? Sorry for the yelling..."Nina said. She swiftly walked toward the girls restroom hoping he wouldn't catch her!

And when he stormed off I didn't get a chance to tell him...uhh..nevermind about that! Just me trailing off a bit!" Alisha chuckled nervously. "And I don't think I met these bandmates yet! So your names are Rae and Issah? Cool names! Mine's Alisha."
She couldn't believe that she almost revealed her deep, dark, most innermost secret to a bunch of people she hardly even knew!

She ran away. Karen tried to catch up to her,but she was way too fast.
Karen went back and saw Alisha,"Hi,Alisha. Phew! That girl runs fast!"

"Hi Karen. Um..this may be weird, but do you know why Nina's acting so strangely? I wanted to talk to her in private about something important, but she kinda ran off before I could tell her."

Karen replied,"I'm too sensitive to spill out her secret! Sorry,Alisha,I don't think she'd like me to spread her secret."

While Nina was in solitude she slapped herself.
"Why am I so STUPID! I start to like a guy before I get to know him?" Nina told herself.
She walked back to Karen's bathroom and washed her face.

"That's okay, I respect that. So now that I know you can be trusted with a secret, can I talk to you in private? There's been something I've been needing to get off my chest for a while now, but I haven't found anyone that I trusted to talk about it."

Karen was proud of herself to know she could be trusted! She smiled and said,"Sure anything Alisha!"

"Great! Here, come this way." Alisha whispered to Karen, leading her behind some trees.
"Okay, so I think you know about the whole Jared thing. Well, we're technically not dating. I don't know why exactly he said those things. Then when I pulled him aside to talk to him, he got all nervous, so I figured that he likes me. But the thing is, I like him too. But the way that I was talking to him made it seem like I was mad at him. That's because I'm....uhh...kinda bipolar. And I have a mild case of depression, as well as some severe mood swings. So I wasn't able to talk to him about it because he ran off before I could explain myself. And I wanted to talk to Nina because I figured he would be the first person that he ran to for comfort because she's so kind and all. But she ran off before I could talk to her either.....Are you following me?"

"I do often pop up and eavesdrop,but if that's what you wanna talk about,you really need Nina's help. Oh and he told me that you and him were dating because he was AVOIDING ME!"Karen hesitated,"What did you wanna tell him?"

Then a cute guy walked to Karen and asked,"Hi,I'm Paulo. I was wondering where a nice hotel is. I can't seem to find one!"
Karen had hearts in his eyes and held his hand close to her,"Hola amigo! I'm Karen! Wanna come to inside my house and find out? I have a phonebook."
Karen and Paulo walked away leaving Jared and Alisha together.

Nina noticed Jared,but ignored him without saying 'hi'. He's probably too busy with Alisha.

Then she saw Jared. She wanted to talk to him so badly, but she didn't have the courage to go up and talk to him. All she could do was walk away. She didn't want him to see her cry.

Nina remebered Paulo told her about a huge,awesome beach.
"The water is so blue!"Nina said.
She wore a swimsuit and headed on to the beach bringing her notebook and a pencil. She sat on a mat and wrote a little poem which later she will write into a song. She then decided to go for a swim. She also saw Paulo and Karen surfing a huge waves!
"Hey,Nina! Go for a surfboard rental and catch a wave with us!"Karen insisted.
"No thanks,Karen!"Nina replied loudly. She didn't go too deep,for she couldn't swim in the deep. Karen and Paulo were enjoying themselves while Nina was relaxing and making a sand castle. Then some other cute guys wanted to surf with Karen. And,of course,Paulo became jealous. He left Karen there and sat down with Nina,helping her with a sand castle.

"Alisha!"Nina gasped. She ran to her quickly with Paulo following her. Nina was about to trip
when Paulo caught her. She blushed and thanked him. He stayed waiting while Nina talked privately to Alisha.

Janie was asleep and she woke up. "My medication has worn off, I should take it again." Janie coughed. She took the med and coughed some more. "I hope it's not a cold, I do feel lousy though..." Janie sat down and started to cough a lot.

"Okay,you can still play! Wanna take a break and join me and Karen and Paulo and his friend at the beach? It's so much fun! Bring whoever you want! See ya there!"Nina asked. She sat down on her mat in the beach fanning herself.

All the time that Alisha was running, she couldn't help but feel bad. She wondered how everyone else was doing.
So, to make herself feel a little better, she texted Kitty.
It read:

Then she decided to call Nina, hoping to be able to talk to her about some stuff.
"Hey Nina, how's it goi - WHAT!! Kitty can't sing anymore?! What happened?? Yeah I understand. Well, how's everyone else?....Well, tell Janie that I hope she feels better soon! I hear someone else. Oh! Well, tell them I say hi! And when you see Karen, can you tell her thanks you? Thanks! Talk to you later!"
Then she decided to call Kitty.

"Um.. yea, I'm still going to be playing my bass. In about 6 months I'm leaving though to have some surgery done. If it works I'll be able to sing again. YAY!!"

Robin served the volleyball and Nina spiked it and Robin missed! The girls won!
