Dogs and Cats

WHY??? How can people eat such cute furrie animals? Yea, ok, I eat cow, chicken, pig, and all that stuff, but to me, thats COMPLETLY different. I see cats and dogs as pets. Animals to nurture and care for. I could NEVER see myself eating something like that. Not to mention date someone who enjoys it...

:mad: I bolded the sentence I thought was completely wrong and inappropriate. How would you feel if people from India killed you because you eat cow? Cows are sacred to them. People don't eat cats and dogs because they want to, it's because they can't afford anything else. My friend is Korean and Chinese and she's been to China and seen what most of the people live in. It's called poverty. Next time you write something like that, think about about it a little bit. :mad:

cats and dogs are pets, but sadly some super markets do sell Kangaroo meat which l find disturbing!

You eat rabbit, right? Or deer? Well, anyway, rabbit and deer are pretty acceptable meat in Europe.

I've got nothing against eating lamb, sheep, cat, dog or chicken.

I do however feel that we dont need to eat meat every single day and the animals deserve a quick and painless death.

What *is* horrible, is that in some asian countries where they eat dog, they think the dog will taste better if they torture it before it dies. So the dog gets beaten to death. Now that is horrible. Not the fact that they actually eat it.

I find it disgusting that people eat pigs: they are so intelligent and human-like... how can you eat them???

i'm not vegan or anything but i personally think that saying "omg it's so wrong to eat cats" isn't any different then saying it's wrong to eat beef or pork. people eat meat all the time without even thinking about it but when you hear about a cute fluffy animal being eating they're like "ooh that's so wrong!". i mean..what if everyone had pigs as pets (and some people do) and ate dogs and cats on a daily basis. would people think about eating pigs differently? anyways, i love dogs and cats and i don't think i could ever eat one but i can understand why people in other countries have different standards on what's right and what's not right to eat.
