Is it really any good?

Okay, I can't go two feet anymore without seeing someone with a book from the Twilight series. First I thought it was only people in my school, then I read on here and EVERYONE seems to have read it. Am I the only one who hasn't? Since everyone seems to think it's good, I want your opinion on if I should read them.

I've never read it - and have no desire to. Tbh, it just sounds like a crummy teen romance novel with ~vampires~. If you want vampires, read Anne Rice's The Vampire Chronicles. :]
