i always make the hair first.

I usually edit the base first (Editing the skintone, making a new face and altering the outline etc.), or I draw the hair.

It depends on what I have in mind. Usually it would be the top part of the doll though, so either the shirt or dress, or hair. I draw each part on a separate layer though, so I often switch in the middle of working to another layer.

And I have been known to start with the shoes :)

i generally start with clothes because I want the hair to be most shown, so when I finish the outfit I study the better way to show the hair or they'd be put aside. I don't want that XD
Actually, I go over and over every part of the doll again trying to make it better

I usually make the face first. If it turns out pretty then the doll is going to be nice, but if it's ugly I decide it's going to be a rude one n3n

I tend to start differently every time.But something i usually do first is simple edits on the base and such if i need them.And then it depends on what i`m going to do...

I always use pre-made bases and credit on my site so I start with the hair. (The body and face are already done.)
