Well, I was writing a story at my Nana's house and it wasn't letting me save it or anything, so i needed to put it here so i can keep it going at my house. xD
Read it if you wan.. its not good... 0__x
The roaring sound of thunder startled Isabella in her deep sleep. Lightning flashed outside her window like a little kid flicking the light switch. She rose from her bed and put on her night robe. Isabella wondered downstairs to see the weather and if it would end. She grabbed the chunky remote and pressed the red power button. The TV flashed like the lightning; on then off again. That’s odd. Bella pondered as she pressed the little button again, but only to get the same result. She stumbled to the wall to turn on the lights, but they were no better than the TV. Isabella looked around, feeling for a candle on the cut-up and worn away countertops for a candle. The stuck her delicate hand into a big hunk of wax. “Ugh,” she moaned as she wiped her hand on her pajama pant leg. The wooden drawer creaked open as she felt blindly for the box of matches. Another round of thunder came through as Isabella grabbed hold of the small box of wood. She quickly struck the match against the side of the box and held the match like a dead mouse. Isabella held the steady flame to the burnt out wick as the room came to light. She wondered back upstairs with the candle in hand into her small bedroom. Her bright and cheery room seemed dull and lifeless with the dim candle as the only source of light. Bella sat the white candle on her white wood nightstand and instantly fell back to sleep. The flame gradually grew as Isabella slept harder and harder.
“BELLA!” A frantic voice screamed. Bella instantly awoke. What she saw was one of the scariest things an 8 year old could see. “FIRE!” she screamed jumping out of her bed. The room was engulfed in an orange glow as she could hear the panicking voice of her mom. She ran towards the window and quickly opened it. A group of firefighters were at the scene, waiting for her to jump down. She closed her eyes and jumped. She felt something catch her, but refused to open her eyes. A woozy feeling took over her body as if she couldn’t breathe or move. Then, blackout.
