I am doing a cleaning lady in the school play! I don't know why, my acting was great, and I am good at the audition, but why I still need to do cleaning lady? And my one of my best friend, Alice, always doing the main character, including this time!

that sucks. sometimes teachers don't pick parts because of good acting, they just give all the good parts out to their favorites.

...Well, all roles are important to the play...-Laughs nervously-
Yes. That is a possibility. D=

I once played a tramp lady in a play. I had about 10 lines. But my teacher said that he didnt think anyone could play her convincingly.

... Okay, that sounds worse than it is. What he meant was that I played her more 'life like', where some other girl would have played her over the top or wooden. And the role was important enough (with a twist that she wasn't a real tramp) that it needed to be convincing.

Other than that I mostly got leads or important parts, even when I didnt want them.

But yes, every role is important. Try and be the best cleaning lady you can and impress them with your acting skillz ;)
