my own illusion

Hi, I’m Ellen Newton and this is my life…

I married Darren in the year 2005, its now the year 2020... 15 years of pain. Our first child, now fifteen, is called Jack and I love him with all my heart but Darren has something against him. Our other child, Eva is thirteen but she acts like a sixteen year old, Darren lovers her, she is his “princess”.

When I married Darren, I seen him as my knight in shining armour, he seemed to save me from myself. Seventeen years ago I would have been sitting in the house alone, my thoughts would be killing me, memories of the pain I had to go through. The “pain” was life… My brother died when I was sixteen, four years before I got married to Darren, my parents had died the year before that.

Anyway …back to reality… …

Jack has gone back into depression, all because of Darren…

Its happening all over again…

so maybe theres not much suspence but to you want to know why jack is back into depression?

No offence, a proper teacher lecture here, but where's the suspense? I wouldn't say there was any, it's not far enough into the story yet.
