In my school I don't have any.
I dunno about America or Britain, though.

In America we dont have formal group leaders in our schools but we have club leaders, like i was the leader of The Science Club and Pond Club. Outside of school i was the leader of a group of girls who volunteered with me and the YWCA for like charity balls and events and stuff.

we have groups but only for years 7,8 and 10 because 9 &11 have sats and GCSEs
