Okay, I know I'm not a moderater and shouldn't be posting something here unless it's a roleplay, but, this is an important issue.
I've noticed that some people, when they make a roleplay, take the main character for themselves and sometimes, this makes other people feel like their character is less important. I know this because, a. I've taken the main character for myself a couple times, and b. I've felt like my character in a roleplay just started getting less and less important. Nobody wants to feel like that and it's important that once in a while, you let some other people-who aren't you-feel good by letting them play the main character.
Now, some of you may say, 'Oh, but that person won't play so and so right.' or, 'He/She isn't like how this person portrays them.' To solve this, simply tell the person politely that she is not playing the character based on how you explained, and ask them if they could change the dialouge or something of the character they're playing. Or, if you want, just play along. It's good to see how some people think the character is. And the person might realize she's not doing it as well, and start changing by themselves.
And another thing, the roleplays here are getting too spammy. Not all of them are, such as, 'The Intergalatic Music Rangers' and '~Bored and Want to RP [Fantasy Rp]', but some of them, like 'Sleepover RP' and some others, just don't have a good story line and mostly consist of junk and boring or random dialouge. (Not to offend any body by saying their role play is spammy, but, let's face it, they are)
A good roleplay is how Peps-the moderater in charge of the role play section-explained. Good roleplays must have a good story line, usually a paragraph or two is very good, some rules, as most usually don't, and a good, detailed form to fill out. A name, age, and appearence isn't all we can do. Personalities, likes, dislikes, nationality and other things can be added to make it seem more interesting.
As we near the end of my rant, I must say that there are some roleplays of questionable taste. 'High school rp' and 'Can't think of a name...' sometimes don't make much sense. I do not want to offend lalalala by saying they are a bit spammy, for I myself have joined and is taking part in them. Spammy roleplays tend to loose a lot of members, while a good, descriptive roleplay may go on for a few years. ('Bored and Want to RP, for example, has nearly or over 700 pages but remarkably, has only been pages and pages of posts by Fall_Out_Boy and myself)
Unfortunatley, this is the last paragraph. It wouldbe fantastic if one of the moderaters won't call this spam and move it to the Junk Yard, because this has taken me a good 20 minutes to type. Not to mention the proof reading and grammatical mistakes, exetera, exetera. So please Mods, don't mark this as spam.
