school dances?

how do your school dances rank? like, how many a year, how fun are ther dances, how many people go.

i know my school doesn't really have a lot of fun dances, but i'm going to the freshman/sophmore hop of march 7th and i can't waittt. i feel like a princess in my dress xDD all my friends are going, we're making it a girl's night ahaha. a lot of people seem to like them too, even the "mixers" we have xD

my schools dances are usually pretty crappy. theres never anything to do at them but stand around because nobody ever dances.

When I was at school, we didn't have dances, we had balls.
These balls were for sixth form only and we had two; one in year 12 & one in year 13.

They were really good; very expensive, great music, fabulous location etc.
The teachers didn't even show up because we were sixth form.

The dances are like step ups to the prom down here.
At dances, you can buddy up and go and all that, but when it comes to prom or homecoming you have a date or you don't show up.

My school dances...well, I've never actually went to one...
They're usually fundraisers, and you have to pay for a ticket. I'm cheap, that's why I haven't been to one yet...-Sweatdrop-

We only have a prom for the end of year elevens. That's all. It's a bit difficult anyway, what with it being an all girls school. o3o But I would like a bit of silly disco sometimes. >_<

Ours are usually amazing because we have a super commitee that takes care of everything. We have 3 official dances a year and countless smaller, less formal ones that are just as awesome. Not to mention the separate parties people throw! :D

We have dance studios in our school, so basically all our dances rock.

It's more like Hip Hop, or sometimes just Friday Night Dances, or Graduation Dances.

my school dances are pretty cruddy... it's just the gym with most of the lights turned off and those colorful discoy ball things. but i still have fun. i go and do stupid dances to every song even if i hate the song!!!!!!!!!! my friends somtimes jion but alot of times pretend not to know me!!! HAHAHAHA:D:p

Here in aussie land we are ripped of we dont have prom nights, when l was at school we were lucky if we had two dances for the year!

The dances in my skewl r kewl!!!There's like one every month and a special one for the kids in their last year of the skewl.I remem my 5th grade dance it was a hawaiian theme in wich i got 2 secretly help out and it was awsum!!!!!!!!

The first dance of the year is never really good the second dance is better but not as many poeple come and the last dance of the year is really cool usually so like more than half the school goes.

i didnt go to any of my high school dances cause i hated everyone there, but my middle school dances were so awesome, no one was trying to be kool like they were in high school, we were just goofy and loved it
