It was the first day of school at Despera Senior High.
It was the only high school in town that Teroney can go to, because this is an all-girls school, while the other high school is an all-boys school.
Yes, it was crowded. Teroney's umbrella almost jabbed some girl in the eye, and her scarf almost smothered herself.
"GOD! Watch where you're going!" An older girl shouted. She tossed back her green hair and stomped away in anger.
Teroney straightened her jacket. It was part of the uniform. It came in four colors; black, white, green, and pink.
Teroney bought the black and green ones. After all, those were her favorite colors.
Walking down the hall, Teroney tried very hard not to be squashed by tall girls almost twice her size. She spotted a familar face in the halls, which was brimming over with people.
The girl had pink hair and golden pink eyes, which was distintive characteristics for Rainbow.
Rainbow, Teroney's best friend since childhood. Her opposite.
Teroney hurried and tapped Rainbow's shoulders with the black umbrella she's been holding in her pale hand.
"Hey, Tero!" Rainbow smiled a smile that belonged just to Rainbow. Warm, welcoming, colorful, and sweet. Like the candies in her pocket.
"Let's go." Teroney waved in the direction of the Grade 10 classroom. Rainbow followed after Teroney, and escaped from the overwhelming sea of people.

Rainbow stumbled and fell among a group of girls. They glared, then walked away silently.
They probably thought I was a clumsy freak. Rainbow thought, with a cloud of despair circling above her head.
"I'm so sorry!" Rainbow called after the tall girls whom she tripped over. They ignored her, and Rainbow sighed sadly.
She dusted off herself. The ground, although covered with a carpet, was very dirty. Her light pink uniform looked a bit darker now.
Rainbow ordered the pink and white uniforms. Those matched her nicely.
"Good thing I didn't wear the white one, or else it would look gray by now!" Rainbow tried to cheer herself up. But she had to face the truth. Her first day at Despera Senior High was pretty much a disaster.
In the crowd, Rainbow saw a familar face, swinging an umbrella to make a way through the sea of people. That was definately her friend, Teroney. Nobody except her carries an umbrella around to school.
Rainbow felt a tap on her shoulder. Before she turned around, she immediately knew who it was.
"Hey, Tero!" Rainbow greeted Teroney. She smiled warmly to her friend, and Teroney gave back a small smile that was easy to miss. Teroney only smiled briefly. She wasn't one to show her feelings elaborately.
The two headed off to the Grade 10 classroom, classroom 12. It stood out among the other classrooms. One of the main reasons were it had a yellow door. Yellow, like sunflowers.
Rainbow and Teroney settled down in their seats just before the first bell rang. The desks matched the door. The yellow could make almost anyone feel happy. Rainbow couldn't help but smile. She took out a piece of toffe from one of her pockets, and popped it into her mouth. She sucked on it, savouring the taste. Rainbow handed a piece of mint gum to Teroney. She knew that those were her favorite. Teroney smiled another one of those hard-to-catch smiles, and it made Rainbow quite happy.
The cloud of despair had mostly disappeared by now. Thought Rainbow, still smiling.
The door swun open, and the teacher walked in.

The teacher was pretty short for somebody in their mid-30's. She had a soft voice and a pale complexion, which made her stand out in the classroom.
She's not much taller than me... Teroney thought, then shrugged.
"Let us begin the day. My name is..." The teacher begin to introduce herself. Teroney now knew her name, which is Lauren Inkwood.
Mrs. Inkwood handed out textbooks to the students one by one. Teroney looked at the cover, and saw big green letters, labelling "SCIENCE" in capital letters.
"Today, we will start off by studying thermal energy and it's many uses, also, we will cover fusion and sublimation. But first of all, I will hand out your timetables." Calmly, Mrs. Inkwood laid out her plans.
Boring....I already know this stuff.... Teroney rolled her eyes. She was a smart girl, but she doesn't show it.
Rainbow glanced at Teroney, and Teroney understood Rainbow's subliminal message.
God, I can't wait until we go home! The impatient glare in Rainbow's golden occuli spoke for itself. She was obiously bored out of her mind, just like Teroney herself.
"Now, before we begin, I would like to assign you lockers." Mrs. Inkwood smiled. "Due to our school's large population, we have to share lockers."
A huge groan arose from the class.

OOC: Sorry to interrupt, but are you sure you have enough characters? I'd love to join this (it's the only RP I've seen where people are writing a good couple of paragraphs each), so would it be okay for me to join when Teroney and Rainbow discover the portal maybe? ^.-

Rainbow stood behind Teroney in a single-file line, ranging from shortest to tallest.
The teacher is so neat. Sheesh. Rainbow complained silently in her mind.
"Bridget Sulzer, Ella Sveeningson, you two get locker 706...." The teacher pointed out the locker to two girls. They wobbled under the weight of all their belongings.
"Rainbow, Teroney, go to locker 707...." Finally, Rainbow's name was called, along with her friend Teroney's. Rainbow gathered her backpack and writing utesils, and walked beside Teroney, who was still carrying her beloved umbrella.
"Aren't we lucky, Tero? 7 is a very lucky number!" Rainbow exclamed, with a cute grin on her face.
As Rainbow kept making "Squee" noises, Teroney stopped Rainbow with her umbrella.
"We're here." That was all Teroney said.
Rainbow flung open the locker door, and started to stuff all her bags, books, pencils.....inside.
"It's bigger than I thought!" She exclaimed.
After Rainbow finished arranging her stuff, Teroney put her things in right next to Rainbow's, but still held on to the umbrella.
In all the excitement of the first day of school, nobody noticed that the locker door seemed to glow purple.

"Brrrring!" The lunch bell buzzed. The students were doing a math project before.
Everybody poured out of their seats, excited to be released from shapes and square roots. Teroney was a bit excited too, but she didn't show it on her face. She was supposed to be the calm kid, after all.
"Yay! We're saved!" Rainbow screamed with delight.
"Let's just go to the cafeteria." Teroney sighed, running a hand through her silky black hair. She applied some more black eyeliner. "I'm pretty hungry."
The two ran through the hallways, trying to dodge the others. Everyone seemed to be in a hurry.
"I need to get my lunch money." Teroney sighed. She hurried to locker 707, and noticed something.
"Hey Rainbow, our locker looks strange. It's glowing."
---
"The humans are going to discover the portal...." A girl sighed, sewing her skin with pink string.
"I will go and elimate them, Mistress Crimson." A tall girl with long black hair down to her waist walked up to Crimson.
"Very well, Infinity." Crimson answered lazily. "Bring Moonbrush and November with you. Those are not ordinary humans we're dealing with. Do not fail the Living Dolls."

Meanwhile, on the other side of the portal, a youngish looking man with incredibly dark hair sat on a golden throne within a cold, dark castle. He admired himself by the low candle light in a small, jewelled hand mirror that he held in a his long, pale fingers. He pricked his ears and looked up on hearing someone shout and run into the throne room.
"Sire! Sire!" A scrawny girl wearing a black and gold uniform stumbled into the room, tripping over her too big shoes. She blushed and stood to attention before he young man, grasping her spear. He looked down at the girl from his throne, trying not to laugh at her fall.
"What now, Tearfall?" He asked, looking back into the mirror.
"King Valesta, it is important! Please, listen." She cried, shuffling her feet and wringing her hands impatiently.
"I am, Tearfall! Speak up!" He raised his voice, but continued to look into the mirror.
"There is word from the High Sorcerer that the Living Dolls have..." Her voice weakened, she sounded afraid. "...Have discovered the portal, and are planning to destroy the humans."
"NO!" The young man shouted, looking up from the mirror, before crushing it with one hand and letting the pieces shatter into his lap. "This cannot happen! Do you understand the seriousness of this, Tearfall?" He asked, voice full of anger and frustration. "It is vital that those two girls enter this place via that portal! The Living Dolls must be stopped. Immediately." Valesta rose from his throne, his golden robes unfolding and shimmering in the dim light, while the fragments of glass from the mirror fell to the stone floor. He gave Tearfall a piercing glare from his yellow eyes.
"Have this cleaned up."

"Once the humans disappear, most of them will join us, the Living Dolls. Our kind shall flourish and conquer the universe." Crimson grinned, tying a knot on a piece of pink string hanging out from her cheek. "It's brilliant, my dear Amethest."
"Yes, yes." Amythest smiled. "I detest the humans. They'll be better off as Living Dolls."
"I know. The strange thing is, we were all once humans. That's one thing I'm not proud of." Crimson replied, twisting a strand of her scarlet hair. She opened a glass box, and took out a crystal ball. Images swirled in the center of the sphere, and finally stopped on a picture of Infinity.
"Are you there yet?" Crimson asked the picture of Infinity, which replied coldly and politely.
"I have reached Point Zero. The device you gave me will disrupt time and dimension and create a wormhole, letting me come out through the Earth side of the portal. Moonbrush and November are now with me."
"Excellent. You're a intelligent one, aren't you?" Crimson smirked. "I'll be sure to promote you once you eliminate the human girls."
---
"Wh...." Rainbow mumbled, a bit shocked.
"Let's open the locker." Teroney suggested. "You don't see something like this every day."
"Now you're talking." Rainbow smiled, and quickly entered the combination into the lock.
The locker swun open, and Teroney gasped.
"I think I just saw a face staring at me...."
"I hate to say this, but maybe we're too paranoid." Rainbow replied, closing up the locker. "We could always stay after school to find out what's going on."

The lunch lady had a bitter face. She scooped large blobs of what looked like curry into Teroney and Rainbow's plates.
"It looks like poo." Rainbow pouted. "I hope I won't get poisoned or something. Did you ever hear about the turnip-cheese incident at this school?"
"I think so. About a dozen girls had to get their stomachs pumped, correct?"
The two friends kept talking about irrevalent things to what had happened earlier. They wanted to know why the locker glowed badly, but they knew when they had to wait.
"This is music class. Does anyone know how to play the flute?" The teacher, Mrs. Elsa Thorn asked the confused and sleepy students. A few of them lazily raised their hands.
"Can you do a demonstration, Ms. Rix?" Mrs. Thorn pointed to a brunette with a faraway expression.
"Sure." She stood up and took the flute from the teacher, then began playing a melody.
---
"Girl, you sure 'bout this?" Moonbrush said hoarsely, lighting another cigarette.
"Sure I'm sure. Mistress Crimson is never wrong." Infinity scoffed, feeling that her companion is too doubtful.
"God, you actually believe those Skittles?" Moonbrush sighed, spewing out a mouthful of silvery smoke.
"Unlike you, I'm respectful and loyal to the Living Dolls." Infinity growled, feeling fraustrated.
"Guys! Stop fighting!" November shouted. "Have you forgotten our mission?"
"Ah, good point." Infinity smiled her perfect smile. "Let's go."
She clicked a button attached to a small calculator-like device, and the three Living Dolls disappeared into thin air, only leaving a cigarette butt lingering on the ground.

"Gah, I can't get out of this stupid box." Moonbrush complained, who entered the portal first. She touched her surroundings, and determined that the coldness must be metal. Moonbrush reached out one hand, touching the area around her thigh. She felt books and heard the ruffling of paper, when she suddenly got a papercut.
"Ow.." She squeaked, stuffing her finger in her mouth, even though the pain already faded to a distant numbness and the wound was closing in on her skin, until it disappeared.
"Use your brain, you fool." Infinity scoffed as she looked through the portal. She didn't care that Moonbrush was hurt, even if she was just injured by a papercut. In her opinion, Living Dolls shouldn't care about pain like those ignorant humans. They were superior, after all. She sighed, looking at Moonbrush. "Just open the door." She said slowly.
"The door, the door...." Moonbrush kept searching for the locker door. "Found it!" She took off a hairclip, and fiddled with the door. The lock dropped, and Moonbrush fell on the floor, followed by a stack of textbooks and papers.
"Damn. That was embarrasing..." Moonbrush blushed, thinking back to her dramatic fall.
"You're a disgrace, Moonbrush." Infinity sighed. "Hurry up, November."
November climbed down slowly, untangling her fur coat from the textbooks and other things. "Okay, chief. Just a second."
"They're not here..." Infinity noticed the absence of her targets, and dusted herself off with a fan.
Moonbrush ruffled her hair, trying to make it look neater, but failed.
"You look really messed up now." November commented, chewing on one fingernail. "Almost like a person wearing a bird's nest for a hat."

Rainbow walked warily, followed by Teroney. Teroney was expressionless as always, but even the ever-so-cheerful Rainbow had a frozen expression glued onto her face. They walked slowly and steadily, afraid that one wrong step may bring them down. The floor was still wet, as the janitor had just wiped it. The ground was glistening with a coat of water, making Rainbow squint.
"Honestly, Teroney! If everyday at this school is this tiring, I'll have to drop out!" Rainbow cried, breaking the uncomfortable silence. "I mean, what is with the gym teacher? Doesn't he have better things to teach us than push-ups? Really, how will doing push-ups enhance my future education and my career? I don't want to be an athlete, I just want to do something that involves music or visual arts, you know?"
"I may die from all this stress." Teroney replied calmly, but Rainbow could hear the strain in her voice. Music class really wore both of them down, with the music teacher being obsessive about finding a perfect voice and whatnot.
"Anyways, the school is being too hard on the students. I wonder how everyone survived?" Rainbow pondered as she spoke her thoughts outloud. "Maybe the first day is always hard." She sighed, trying to comfort herself, not trying to think about the long torturous days that will follow after this one. "The school is really big, too. I wonder where our locker is again, Tero."
---
Infinity was just getting ready to track down the girls, when November heard the janitor's footsteps.
"Infinity!" She cried, panicking a bit. "A human...I hear a human, and he's heading this way! What do we do?"
"Don't be worried, child." Infinity's petite mouth pulled up into an evil smile. "Of course, we will eliminate him. What else can we do?"
"Why can't we just hide?" November asked, eyes wide and face pale with fear. "He's innocent! We shouldn't kill him!"
"Why not?" Infinity's sharp eyes swept across November's childlike face. "Remember this. We are the living dolls. Humans are inferior. We consider them enemies. And enemies will be killed."
She gained speed, disappearing into the air. Clapping her pale hands together, her fingers crossed, summoning small shadow demons that went after the janitor's shadow, tearing it up then heading for the janitor.
The man let out an agonizing scream that made November burst into tears. She cuddled against Moonbrush, not wanting to witness the bloodshed. Infinity ran back to the two of them seconds after the scream, her beautiful but cruel face looking satisfied.
"Let us go." That was all she said. Moonbrush followed after her, followed by a sniffling November.

"Seven hundred something, I suppose. I guess it could be easy to find with that freakish purple glow on the door, but I'm not sure if it's still there...It could have been our imaginations after all, Rainbow." Teroney replied, looking around as she and Rainbow approached a long row of lockers. "No, this is the six hundreds....Ugh, where is it?" Teroney was getting frustrated. She was sure that she had better things to do than this, but she was very curious for some reason. Meh, who knows. Too much candy, she supposed.
Teroney felt a tap on her shoulder, and jumped. "Rainbow, did you just tap me?" She asked, alert.
"Nope. The question is, did you tap me?" Rainbow raised an eyebrow, then turned around. "This is pointless. We should go."
"Maybe we should." Teroney followed Rainbow's gaze, but suddenly spotted a faint purple glow on one of the locker doors. "...Wait! I think I see the locker...." She grabbed Rainbow's delicate hand. "Let's go!"
They ran towards the locker, avoiding a huge puddle that was in their way. Suddenly, Teroney heard a piercing scream that bounced from wall to wall.
"Did you hear that?" Teroney looked at Rainbow, eyes wide with horror. Such a scream can only be produced if some kind of lethal pain was afflicted upon one's body.
"How could I not?" Rainbow grimaced.
A strange yet familiar smell drifted into the air. Teroney noticed it immediately.
"Rusted iron..." She whispered. "Salt..."
"Blood." Teroney gasped, running further into the hallway and made a swift turn. She gasped, her mouth stretched into a horrified O.
A corpse lay on the floor, his body torn up and his inner organs completely gone. Some of his ribs were missing, but most of the bones were still inside his body, blood dripping from them. They glistened under the lights.
Rainbow saw the sight and screamed, closing her eyes and running away.
Teroney sighed, turning around and walking away. She had to find a phone and report this to the police, since pretty much nobody was inside the school right now.

Rainbow slipped on a pool of blood. She slipped, crashing into a row of lockers.
She didn't cry in pain. She couldn't, as she was unconscious.
My eyes were filled with a dark haze, blocking my view. I saw nothing except for endless, blurred darkness.
I knew that there was light somewhere around me, but I cannot see it. Stumbling, I ended up on the floor-like surface. It was hard, slippery and a bit wet. I gasped, as the floor bubbled.
"Quiet." A smooth voice spoke to me, and I did what I was told instantly. My heart beat slowly, once every ten seconds. I heard nothing except for my heartbeat and my slow, soft breathing.
"You are Rainbow, yes?" The voice whispered in my ear. I nodded stiffly, blinking. Again, complete darkness. The voice seemed to be everywhere. I didn't know who spoke to me, or where they stood. The walls of structure that I'm trapped in reflected the sounds, making them bounce from wall to wall.
"Close your eyes." The voice said gently, but I knew that it was a command and did so. My eyes were useless here, after all.
Suddenly, a splitting headache consumed my senses. I knew nothing but pain for a second, then the pain slowly faded, and I saw myself emerge in a sea of blood.
I floated there, as light as a feather, with my eyes closed and my lips pulled up into a smile. The Rainbow that I saw was happy and carefree.
Then it rained.
Blood rained down in tiny, almost undetectable droplets, and soon, a thin layer of blood covered Rainbow...I mean me, and she...I, actually...didn't even notice. The rain of blood slowly dyed my pink hair red.
Lightning crashed through the sky, splitting it up into jagged pieces, and I felt another wave of pain pass through me as the Rainbow before my eyes were dragged under the murky pool of blood, the flesh being eaten away by it. I felt the pain of my alternate self.
I felt like that I was being stung by insects. My skin burned. The headache returned. The pain only lasted for about a few seconds, then it passed through the rest of my body, but it didn't disappear completely. I felt stiff and numb, unable to move at all.
"Rainbow...Rainbow?" Teroney nudged her friend, then pressed her fingers to Rainbow's left side.
Rainbow's heart was still beating, but her mind was elsewhere, in another realm. Her soul was sucked inside the portal, from when she bumped into her own locker.
The portal's guardian was trying to tell Rainbow something. Something about the future, the past, and most importantly, the present.
But what was it?
Teroney had assumed that Rainbow passed out when she hit those lockers, and she ran to a public phone near by.
"Hello, is this the hospital? My friend is unconscious..."

Teroney sat beside Rainbow, waiting for her to wake again. Sighing, she touched Rainbow's hand once again. Rainbow almost flinched, but didn't make any drastic movements.
What if she doesn't wake up? An annoying voice in Teroeny's mind sneered. Maybe they'll blame you for it. Anyways, it's your fault for ditching Rainbow. Maybe the ones that had murdered the janitor knocked her out. If you were there with her, maybe this wouldn't have happened. It's your fauly. It's your fault. It's your fault.
Teroney bit her lip, taking her hand away from Rainbow.
"It's not my fault." She whispered, though she didn't know if that was the actual truth.
---
"November." Infinity whispered. "Look at me."
November turned, looking into Infinity's dark and bottomless eyes fearfully. "Y..yes, Infinity?"
"You're not allowed to cry, November. You're a Living Doll. Even though you're young and inexperienced, you must learn to accept the world for what it is. We are the Living Dolls. We destroy. We cause tears. We don't shed them. There are humans even crueler than us. Just accept it. People die." Infinity explained coldly, though with a soft tone, as if talking to a child.
"I..." November almost sobbed, but held back her tears. "I'll try..."
"Good." Infinity turned, walking away, when her mirror started to glow.
Crimson's stitched face slowly appeared onto the surface.
"Mistress Crimson!" Infinity gasped. "I...well, the human girls...You see, we.."
"It's okay." Crimson shrugged. "One of the guardians is on their side. They'll be hard to eliminate. Also, I need you to train another new Doll."
"Again?" Infinity almost groaned, but quickly regained her calm and collected expression.
"This child is gifted. She is naturally evil, and has an amazing talent. Her name as a Living Doll is...Friday. Your job will be easier with her. Anyways, you've got Moonbrush to help you, too."
"I see." Infinity nodded curtly, then smiled. "Goodbye."
"Goodbye. Do not fail the Living Dolls. I will send Friday through the portal tomorrow afternoon."
Infinity stuffed the mirror into her dark cloak, turning away.
"Moonbrush. A new Doll will be joining us soon."

B...but everything is clear. The sunshine broke through the clouds, and the sky brightened once again. I stood up. It was as if everything had been fine all along.
Seriously, what's up with this place?
And why am I here?
Who brought me?
How did I get here?
I have a million questions swirling around in my head. Bringing my arm to my face, I wiped away something warm and wet.
Blood.
I reconized it by the stench.
But not by the color.
It shone brightly in the sun, a gleaming peach pink that almost glittered.
Again. What is up with this place?
Rainbow felt warmth. The warmth of someone's touch.
Suddenly, the warmth died away, and so did Rainbow's consciousness.
I opened my eyes once again. Did I pass out? It seemed like a long time.
Studying my surroundings, I climbed up to my feet and sighed heavily.
It was a whole other place.
Before my eyes were a beautiful spring forest, with brightly colored wildflowers everywhere and pale pink petals drifted along with the wind. The air had a sweet fragance, and there seemed to be music everywhere.
What. The. Hell.
This is definitely not real life.
It's like a TV show or something...I can't tell. It all seemed so fake, yet so real.
I pinched myself hard, then yelped.
It's not a dream.....

"I...I'd better go..." Teroney whispered. "Bye, Rainbow."
She can't hear you, Said the voice. Maybe she's done for. Maybe she's dead. And it's all thanks to you, Tero. You're her best friend, after all.
"Shut up!" Teroney groaned. "Stupid brain..."
Running out of the hospital, Teroney climbed onto a bus and sat by a window, watching the familiar buildings flash by as the bus picked up speed.
I hope that Rainbow's parents won't blame me for this...I hope that Rainbow gets better soon.... Teroney repeated in her mind, as if her wishes will come true if she thought hard enough.
Don't waste your time, Teroney. The voice whispered. It won't work. Face it, Teroney. It's all your fault. They won't forgive you.
"Shut the fack up!" Teroney screamed, causing all the passengers to stare at her.
"Um, sorry about that..." She sat back down, chuckling nervously.

"What?" Ekop raised an eyebrow.
"It's true, Miss Ekop." Friday repeated obediently. "They want to send me on a mission with three other Living Dolls."
"So that's how the Skittles are gonna train you, eh?" Ekop replied, using one of her many hands to comb her spiky green hair. "Fine. I'd ll come with you."
"But-" Before Friday could get a word out, Ekop interrupted her.
"I have to. I don't like you, but you're my responsilibity. I don't want to lose my head, do I?"
"You're right." The armoured child admitted. "Please, let's head to the human world. We have no time to lose."
"Sure we don't." Ekop rolled her eyes. "Sure we don't."

"Mistress Crimson." Ekop kneeled on one knee before the great ruler of the Living Dolls, also known as the Head Skittle to some.
But they'd never say it to Crimson's face. The petite stitched-together Doll looked young and somewhat harmless, but most Living Dolls knew that she was extremely fearsome.
Their worst nightmare, perhaps.
Not many Dolls had disobeyed or insulted their leader in front of her. At least, Ekop didn't know any. If there was any that dared to defy Crimson, they were never heard of again.
Ekop had never seen or heard of the death of a Living Doll. They were indestructible. Impossible to kill, as far as she knew.
But Crimson was beyond logic and thought. No one knew the extent of her powers.
"You may rise, Ekop." The red-haired Doll spoke coldly. "Fantasia shall lead you to the portal."
Ekop stared at the child that kneeled behind her. Friday, the new kid. Ekop and Friday looked like sisters together, with their green hair and stuff.
Fantasia walked over, her thin frame wobbling with every step she took. Her long strawberry blonde hair covered most of her face, concealing her expression.
"So where's this portal thingy?" Ekop asked as she and Friday followed Fantasia out the heavy bronze doors. "I've never heard of it."
"I don't know much about it." Fantasia sighed, her voice sweet but a bit hoarse for some reason. "Apparently, Mistress Crimson can control it to an extent, but cannot access it fully. Currently, the portal leads to about a dozen different worlds. You two are heading to the Human World, correct?"
Ekop nodded silently, waiting for Fantasia to speak again.
"...Oh. I was told to explain about the mission...." Fantasia started to walk quicker than before, her six-inch heels clicking against the metallic floor as the three Dolls followed a series of glowing lights down a hallway. "...Infinity, November and Moonbrush were transported to the Human World to eliminate two girls that has hold of the human side of the portal, so Mistress Crimson can gain more control of it. Also, Mistress Amethyst told me that the future holds something strange...If the girls are not killed off soon enough, the Living Dolls may perish forever...."
"...I don't believe in that crap." Ekop shrugged, uninterested. "I honestly don't care if Amethyst is one of the Skittles. She can't be right. We're indestructible, as you can see. We can't be killed off."
"But Mistress Amethyst didn't say anything about us being killed." Fantasia seemed to frown. "I don't know how our clan will be destroyed without us dying. For once, I hope that Mistress Amethyst is wrong."
"But maybe those three won't let us down." Ekop grinned. "Right, Friday?"
Friday nodded, looking down at her feet. "I don't want to die."
"You won't." Ekop assured the child. "Living Dolls can't die, you know."
But Ekop wasn't so sure about that anymore.

Teroney buried her face in her hands. Why had she been so careless? Why did she let her chaotic thoughts get the best of her?
Many passengers still eyed Teroney with curiosity and suspicion as if she was an alien, not bothering to lower their voices as they talked about Teroney.
"That girl is psycho," Said a tall girl, about sixteen. "I think that she's hearing voices..."
"Yeah." Her shorter companion agreed, laughing in a weird way. "And what's with the umbrella? Is she emo or something? Like, oh my god. People these days..."
One voice gradually drowned out all the rest. The voice that Teroney was trying to ignore.
Oh, are you sad? Not for Rainbow, I don't think. The voice sneered harshly, the echo of each word clawing at Teroney's conscience. You're sad because I'm here. But you're the person that brought me here. I am you. And you are me.
Teroney's hands tightened into fists, trying to keep herself silent as the voice continued laughing, until the laughter evolved into crazed cackles and later, insane screams.

"Here we are." Fantasia stopped at the end of a corridor. "Point Zero."
"Here?" Ekop blinked in confusion. "This? This is THE Point Zero? You've got to be kidding."
"Just go down until you see an empty space with a rainbow sphere floating in the center. Mistress Crimson will do the rest. Don't worry." Fantasia explained, smiling as she brushed her hair away from her face. Her eyes seemed to be glowing with some kind of glee.
"Oh, so you say...?" Ekop shrugged, jamming two of her hands into her pockets. "And I'm not worrying, dammit."
"I am a bit worried..." Friday admitted nervously. "What if we got lost in time or space?"
"Have faith in Mistress Crimson, child." Fantasia looked at Friday with kindness in her deep blue eyes. "I've got to report back to her now. May the luck of the Living Dolls be with you."
"Yeah, whatever." Ekop responded, irritated by the fact that Fantasia was being too nice. This isn't like her. "Later."
"Goodbye, Dame Fantasia." Friday nodded politely, turning around.
"Just call me Fantasia, okay?" Fantasia smiled happily, walking quickly down the hallway, with the sound of her heels clicking against the floor echoing down the hall.
"Anyways...here we go, I guess...." Ekop sighed, running down the stairs, dragging Friday behind with one hand.

"Hello."
Who said that?
I twirled around, eyes darting rapidly around the woods to find no one except for myself.
"Hello there, Rainbow." The strange voice became clearer, sharp and pure like a shard of crystal.
"Who said that?" I cried out, a bit scared. "W...why do you know my name...how...what..."
"I am Eternal." Said the floating voice, the crystal-like soundwaves bouncing around the trees, forming hundreds of echoes.
"I am Eternal."
"I am Eternal."
"I am Eternal."
"Are you the only person here besides me?" I hesitated for a moment, before addressing myr question to the voice that called itself Eternal.
"Oh, no." Eternal laughed, shaking the leaves of the surrounding trees, resulting in a pleasant rustling noise that sounded like some kind of music. The melody is changing too rapidly for me to understand it, but every sound was musical here, including my own voice. It felt like that I was not speaking, but singing every word as if everything I thought about was part of an everlasting song.
"Then who else is here?" I continued, looking up at the sky. I thought I saw a face in the clouds, but as the wind blew softly, it turned into a turtle, then a glass of martini.
"Many others." Eternal answered vaguely, not specifying anything that could help me out.
"You're just messing with me, aren't you?" I muttered to myself, kicking the dirt in frustration.
"Maybe." Eternal laughed once again.
"Rhetorical question!" I yelled, turning around.
"Wait." Eternal called to me, and my feet were suddenly glued to the ground by some invisible force. "I've something to show you, Rainbow. You can't get out even if you follow the way back."
"And why not?" I rolled my eyes, head held high, concealing my panic. What if I'm trapped here forever and this Eternal person is just leading me into a trap?
The rainbow sphere dazzled both Ekop and Friday's eyes. It was shining brilliantly, with every shade of every color ever created spinning rapidly like a hurricane inside it. In the center were a ring of pure white, unstained by any other shade.
"Miss Ekop," Said Friday, clutching Ekop's arm nervously. "How will we get to the human world using this...this shiny ball of colors?"
"We don't." Ekop answered casually, one of her hands inside her pocket as she played with a sharp piece of glass. "We just wait here. Mistress Crimson will do the rest."
"...Alright..." Friday sighed, not entirely sure.

Teroney ran off the bus as soon as it skidded to a stop, squeezing past the small cluster of passengers and disappeared in a hurry, attracting many worried, freaked out or amused glances as she ran behind a neat road of little houses.
"Shouldn't she be in a mental hospital?" The tall girl rolled her eyes, looking at her short friend.
"People like that are a waste to society." The shorter girl responded, laughing dryly.
"Ah, good point." The tall girl agreed. "I hope that we never see her again. She's such a freak."
Teroney dropped to the ground, landing on soft grass. She breathed heavily, rubbing her eyes. They were watering.
I guess that you really are crazy. The voice spoke once again, tormenting Teroney's mind with every word. You sure impressed the people on the bus. They think that you're a mentally ill freak.
"So?" Teroney retorted, climbing up to her feet and dusting herself off. Picking up her black umbrella, she walked forwards with her head held high, trying to ignore the voice's attempts at destroying her mind.

The rainbow colors swirled rapidly as the two Dolls felt lighter and lighter. They spun on their toes, dragged by some kind of invisible force that they couldn't feel. It was a mesmerizing experience for Ekop, her eyelids drooping down every once in a while from the dizzyness while Friday screamed.
And suddenly, everything darkened. Pure black covered everything as Ekop and Friday were sent into another dimension.
Light poured down from a hole. Ekop woke.
She was next to Friday, but they were both trapped in a metal box.

"I can read your mind, you know." Eternal informed me casually, chuckling lightly at the expression on my face.
My cool expression quickly became agape and looked at the treetops as if Eternal was sitting inside a tree, and shouted out a string of profanities at her. How dare it? How could it?
"Aw, what did I do?" Eteral sounded hurt at first, but started giggling, which only made me angrier.
"You just invaded my privacy, you know! How could you? I would never do that to you, you know! That was disrespectful! I expected nothing more than to escape from this weird land of weirdness, and now some random floating voice is reading my mind! What have I done to deserve this? I haven't done anything to anyone! I was just there, minding my own business as I walked alongside Tero, when..."
I broke into sobs, knowing that my rant would not solve any problems. Eternal coughed, sounding like that it was trying to hold back laughter. I frowned, glaring at my surroundings hatefully.
"Ah, but I was only trying to let you know that I have no ill intensions whatsoever towards you. Please believe me." Eternal sounded apologetic. "Please. I'm sorry for laughing at you."
My scowl softened, and I looked up at the sky again. "Okay, I believe you. How do I get out of here, anyways?"

"Sorry, but I can't tell you right now," Eternal's tone of voice resumed its playfulness, "But you'll find out later."
I frowned. "Stop messing with me."
"I'm not." Eternal replied, sighing shortly after. "There are rules here..."
"What rules?" I blinked, totally confused.
"What the hell?" Ekop muttered. "Where are we?"
"It's a locker, Miss Ekop." Friday stated calmly, brushing away a pencil that had landed on her face. "A locker is a metal container commonly used in schools and other-"
"I wasn't asking you, idiot!" Ekop fumed, then turned around and touched the locker door. "The lock is outside, so that means..."
Friday just sat on a pile of books nervously, picking up a pink lollypop.
"Don't eat that." Ekop warned, before Friday even put the lollypop to her mouth. "We have to get outta here first, 'kay?"
"How?" Friday stared at Ekop, with confusion in her eyes.
"Oh, it's pretty simple once you think about it...." Ekop laughed dryly, turning her eyes to Friday. "It's time for you to use your power, child."
"..." Friday sighed, touching the door quickly. Nothing happened.
"Concentrate!" Ekop shouted. "It's not gonna work if you're not thinking about what you're doing!"
Friday stared at the door as if she had never seen a door before, then touched it gently once again. Quickly, the metal seemed to eat away at itself and disappeared into thin air in no time. Ekop watched quietly, with a small smile adorning her pale green-tinted face.
"Mistress Crimson was right. You ARE talented."

"Erm...thank you?" Friday smiled nervously, climbing out of the locker carefully.
"Now we'll have to find the other three...Dammit, where are they?" Ekop muttered to herself, ignoring Friday once again. She started to run through the empty hallway, looking for the three other Dolls, which was nowhere to be found.
"Where could they be?" She groaned, running one of her many hands through her short and spiky grayish green hair. "Agh. They didn't...they must be here. Infinity is..."
"Looking for me?" An elegant but harsh voice rang from behind a door. With a swift push, the door swung open and Infinity walked out from behind it, looking at the two Dolls with an amused smile spread out on her face, which was a rare but beautiful sight to behold.
"Ah. So you are here after all." Ekop nodded, her expression blank.
"How could I not be?" Infinity laughed quietly. "We have a date."
"Salutations, Lady Infinity." Friday bowed her head gently before Infinity. "I am Friday."

"I can't tell you." Eternal laughed dryly, as the leaves around Rainbow shook gently.
"Oh, is that one of the rules too?" I rolled my eyes, then sighed. "I need to get out here. You're just wasting my time, you know, and I'm.."
"Yeah, yeah." Eternal sounded almost as impatient as I am. "I know. Come with me, then."
"How?" I questioned. "You're just a voice-"
"No, I'm not." A white silhouette jumped down suddenly from what looked like an oak tree, landing before me. I gasped with shock as I observed the object's features. They were human-like, but too delicate and plasticky to be human.
"You..you..you're Eternal?" I stuttered, still staring into the person's milky white eyes.
"Yup. They also call me The Intelligence." She giggled, taking one of my hands. I yelped; her fingers were colder than ice.
"Whaaaaat?" She pouted, squeezing my hand harder than before. "Come on, follow me! I'll explain in a moment...I need to take you somewhere first."
I couldn't speak; it seemed as if her touch was restricting my ability of speech. I wasn't sure if I actually trusted her...she could have been a murderer disguised as an android-like girl ready to finish me off and take all my candy for all I know.
But if I couldn't trust her, then who can I trust?

"So I've heard." Infinity smiled, though it was a fake one that didn't reach her eyes. They remained as hostile as they were a moment ago. Friday remained silent, but she scooted towards Ekop a little, a result of Infinity's intimidating stance.
"Dude, you're scaring the kid." Ekop laughed, placing a hand on Friday's shoulder. "Friday, get away from me."
And with a swift push from Ekop, Friday almost fell to the ground, but balanced herself just in time. Infinity smiled for real this time; but it wasn't a kind smile. It was one of amusement, which made Friday blush.
"Sorry," She muttered, brushing her fringe away from her eyes, "I'm sorry, really."
"Aah, just shut up." Ekop rolled her eyes, turning to Infinity. "So where are the rest of your gang?"
"Oh, they're just..doing whatever, I guess. Wandering around the school for a bit, I'd say, seeing as the two targets have disappeared from the school. I take it that they're done for the day." Infinity replied nonchalantly, fingering a piece of her long raven hair.

Teroney panted as she sat upon the marble steps of her residence, a tall and elegant house, with metal gates and a large front yard filled with pale flowers and grass that never seemed to grow, and a fountain that spewed out water that looked like some kind of stew that resembled toxic waste, with a few dead butterflies floating in it, regardless of the season. After resting awhile, she scrambled up to her feet, still breathing more heavily than usual. She wasn't used to running, seeing as she ran all the way home to avoid strange glances directed her way. She was sickened by them, and more importantly, herself.

"Come with me now, Rainbow." Eternal's tone grew serious as her hand turned even colder. I shuddered, trying to pull my hand away but failed miserably, only resulting in Eternal squeezing even harder, leaving red marks on my hand that burned and throbbed. That girl was rather strong for her petit size. I did nothing at first, intimidated by her, but I nodded later as Eternal loosened her grip. Who cares if she's gonna kill me? We're all gonna die anyways, so it wouldn't matter. Not at all. I'd miss my friends and family, but-
Ahh, the girl seems friendly enough. I'm the one who's freaking out. Gotta stay positive...it's what makes me special, after all.
"Okay then!" Eternal grinned, her enthusiastic smile taking up about half the space on her face. "Hold on tight, 'cause you're about to endure the ride of your life!"
"Wha-what the hell? Dude, what are you talking about?" I shouted suddenly, cheering silently in my head about the fact that I can speak once again.
"You'll see!" Eternal laughed, winking as she unwrapped her shimmering white robe, twisting the fabric into a rope. Before I could even blink, she had tied one end of the cloth around my wrist tightly, and the other around her own wrist. "Hang on tight!" She cried, and started to spin in a circular motion, dragging me along.

"Hello? Anyone?" Teroney shouted as she banged on the wide doors of the rather large house that stood before her with a fist. She hissed with pain as she felt her hand throb; after all, these doors won't open by themselves. I'm pretty sure that Rainbow took my spare key, Teroney gritted her teeth as she started kicking the door. "Somebody open this freakin' door!"
She knew that the chance that someone was home was low. She was screaming at the top of her lungs and she could be pretty loud when she wanted to but there came no responce from inside the house. It was pretty old, since it doesn't even have a doorbell, causing Teroney to be trapped outside. Good thing that nobody else lives around here, She took a deep breath, Or they'll definitely come to me and complain about all the noise that I'm making, unless they're deaf, of course.
Finally, she gave up after twenty more minutes of banging on the door and shouting. She fell with her back against the door, plopping onto the stone stairs, her hair sticking to her face with the adhesive being her perspiration. Gazing at her hands, now raw, red and sore, she sighed and took off her backpack, searching for the key aimlessly.
