We have a different grading system to that of the USA's. Every year from first years to the sixteen year olds go by this system of levels, which are represented by numbers. Level 2 is the average for a year 2, and level 5 is the average for my year. I'm achieving sixes and sevens! ^_^ Which is really good considering you should be level six by the end of year nine. The year sixes, when they do their SATs are meant to be a level four.

It's quite difficult to explain. Then there's the decimals, eg:

5.0 is a low five (which means you've just got a five)

5.4 is a mid five (which is like a middle)

5.7 means you're moving up to level six.

I'm a level 5 in Maths, a level 4 in music (some levels work differently, I'm just above average), a level six in art, a level seven in Geography, History and RE, dwindling between six and seven in Science, a six in English, a six in ICT, a 5 in Drama... ugh it goes on and on!

But when you're used to your own systems, it's easy to know what it is.

So, I guess you could say I'm A in quite a few things, and a D in Maths! xD You see, our school is rocketing above average, so much so that people are disappointed when they get fives and teachers are disappointed in them, even though they shouldn't be. For some reason I was stuck in top set for Maths, and I'm failing. Most of the students in my set are achieveing high sixes and sevens. It makes my head hurt! D:

So there's my little explanation about our report systems. We get PCTL sheets, with a target, represented by a letter with our predicted levels for end of year nine by the side, then R, A, or G. This is traffic light system! If you're a green, that means 'YES! You will get your target level' Amber means 'Work a bit more! Or your fate lies with Macdonalds' and red literally means 'HAHA! FAILURE! You'll never make it now, see ya down the chippy, serving up the fries!'

So, yeah... ¬_¬ Enough from me.
