Seriously don't worry LOL. Done them last month. I remember how everyone was running around like headless chickens during our mocks. Come our real things no one cared :p

If you want start revising about 8 weeks before the exams, use practice papers and ask your teacher how you do stuff if your stuck on it. I never bothered revising, lets hope my marks didn't show that :p

*off topic* You've already finished school? I've still got 2ish months left of Year 9 to finished yet!

I wouldn't worry about SATS, they don't mean anything!! :)

The mocks are harder than the real things...seriously trust me lol.

Don't worry too much about them, they aren't like gcse's or a-levels where you may need them for your future careers. They're just to see how well the schools are teaching you.

If you are worried just like AnnMarie said, set out a reivsion plan in advance so you can learn new things to do the best you can.

I didn't revise much at all for my year 9 sats (a month ago) and yeah...I hope that doesn't show lol. Just do your best and no-one can ask you to do anymore.

And yeah thats not fair lol! I still have a whole half term before I finish school for the summer! Lol.

That was like us at Standard grade :D When it came to prelims, everyone freaked out since this was our first time doing exams but when the real thing arrived, people didn't care so much :)

All I can say, is if you really want to do well you should put time aside to do some revision even now just to look through notes at the end of a day or week before serious revision ;] It's never too early to start revising and it's best to start earlier than leaving it to the last minute :( I'm terrible for that xP and I always regret it ;)

The best thing is just to relax, I had exams all week this week and I went through several stages where I completely paniced and it didn't get me anywhere. I did revise over half term, but not as much as I should have. For SATs I find though that revision isn't necessary, maybe thats just me but I did my year 9 sats in year 5 and they were extremely easy, i hadn't revised or anything, my school just kind of gave them to me and I was like ok and did them then and there and passed with top grades.

Basically sats are nothing to worry about, they don't count towards much. I'm not even sure they count towards anything.

I'm not even sure they count towards anything.

In my school our sats results count towards our GCSE set for the next two years, seeing as we didn't do our end of years in those 3 subjects. And as for the school it counts for their reputation, and their brilliant teachers! :p

I'm not sure my school even does sats, they probably don't I did the year 9 sats in primary school and that didn't even get put on the schools thing. I did a mock gcse in primary school and that never got put on the schools record.

You do SATS in primary school anyway, so they won't have been your year 9 ones, and i'm sorry to say this but i'm not going to believe they gave you a mock GCSE in primary school.

Plus, its a government law that everyone has to do SATs.

Not all private schools do SATs, private schools don't have to, my school was just being annoying as usual. I did do a mock gcse maths paper to see where I was because I was basically miles ahead of everyone else, I was doing year 6 work in year 2. You can chose not to beleive it but its true, I got an A* too, it was the hardest thing I had done at the time, alot of the stuff I do at school now is probably harder than some of the stuff on the paper though.

I've just done my SAT's, year 6, and I got 100% on mocks maths, but even if I got that on SAT's it would'nt make a difference. Probably same with Year. 9.
